The song, "What's up?" by 4 Non Blondes, is having a moment. I picked up the CD a few months ago, and since then I've heard it in supermarkets and at public gatherings. And now an opera singer on you tube is having a blast analyzing Linda Perry's vocals.

I checked the available channels on my hotel-TV and the first one not in Russian or Romanian/Moldovan was #MTV so I made my choice. So. There's #DollyParton. Good start.

Dolly starts talking about her first rock album released in 2023 which I found a little funny. A bit of one song came on it is obviously about #ClimateChange and I thought was quite good.

Afterwards she began to talk about her cover of We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions, that #Queen was one of the greatest rock bands in history and how she wished she had met #FreddieMercury whom she called a genius.

If that wasn't enough she went on to talk about her cover of What's Up? by #4NonBlondes and working with #LindaPerry.

It was like something designed to make me love Dolly Parton.

I felt quite sad when I read that #LindaPerry said she wasn't happy with #4NonBlondes' only album (Bigger Better Faster More). Then she added that the only song she had full control over was Drifting, my absolute favourite track by the band.

Since then I've always wondered how the rest of the songs would have sounded if they hadn't been burdened with an over-controlling producer.
