104/365 Sleep apnea causes low oxygen levels. For some people, it triggers release of atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP), a hormone that flushes water & sodium from your body.
My previous pulmonologist was so bad I went off CPAP for 2 years. Found a great pulmonologist & can confirm ANP connection. Nighttime urination went from 3-5 to 1-2 times over 8-9 hours of sleep. Once/twice a week I sleep through the night.
