[EN] Since I moved to my own instance, I'm (poorly) rewriting my introduction. I'm Théotime, an aroace agender computer science student
I mostly play roguelikes, metroidvanias and some monster tamers (i.e. Pokémon-like). I read way too much webcomics as well, feel free to ask (or give!) me recommandations
I'm probably gonna post about very random things (both in French and in English), sorry for some uninteresting stuff I'll say lol
[FR] Vu que j'ai changé d'instance, je refais (mal) mon intro. Je m'appelle Théotime, je suis étudiant en alternance, en informatique.
Je joue principalement à des roguelikes, des metroidvanias et quelques monster tamers (càd Pokémon-like). Je lis beaucoup trop de webcomics, hésitez pas à me demander (ou me donner !) des recommandations.
Je vais probablement poster des trucs assez random (en français et en anglais), désolé pour certains posts pas intéressants x)

After playing so much #30XX lately I got a hankering for the classics so I took advantage of the massive discount and snatched up that big bundle of #MegaMan Legacy Collections. Let me tell you, going back and playing Zero and ZX is a revelation. I’d forgotten a lot of things about these games. #MegaManZero in particular is incredibly difficult for one specific reason I had never realized before: the #GBA viewport is TINY! Not a lot of room to move around before enemies are right on top of you.

This weekend I did all of the secret stuff in #30XX. It's a phenomenal game and while I enjoyed unlocking the true ending by finding all of these odd things during playthroughs, it was a mistake to lock all of the story progression behind hidden challenges. #Hades, IMO, is still the gold-standard when it comes to narrative progression in a roguelite. I love how it contextualizes multiple runs as part of the plot. 30XX tries the same, but it's not central to the experience the way it is in Hades.
