Welp, can't win for losing. I went out for ride #2 of #30DaysofBiking, hit a pothole going down a hill and went over the handlebars. Bike was busted up enough I had to walk it home. No broken limbs but my ribs hurt bad enough I've got a friend on his way over to take me to the ER for xrays. (my urgent care place closed at 5:30).

So. I'm in awful physical shape and my mental health is even worse. BUT I may have sorted out my bike seat issue recently so how about a #30daysofbiking?
Did a bit over 11 miles this evening. It was a little further and steeper than I wanted to go, but there were some aggressive drivers on the out part of my out and back so I made it a loop (Plus I live at the top of a large hill and my options are pretty limited).

Started day 30 of #30DaysOfBiking with yet another ride to school with the teen. Had to run to campus at lunch time to pick up graduation regalia, easy to zip over on a bike. Stopped off on the way home at the neighborhood taco truck for lunch. Then biked out tonight for some activism because a cyclist was killed by a driver last night less than a mile from my house, at an intersection I frequently bike through. A sad closing note for a good month. #BikeTooter

Day 30: What the what. Even colder today, it's a crazy way to end the month (and the challenge). No desire to ride far. At least the flora have decided its spring, as evidenced by the leafing trees and greening grass.

Day 29: Cold again, but it's the wind that really makes the rides unpleasant. Weather is about the same as the beginning of April, so if not for the longer daylight it wouldn't really feel like spring is happening.
