Now realising how difficult it is to export #AppleNotes as text files.
Want to move to #Joplin as part of my #30dayfosschallenge
Actually this problem in itself illustrates why FOSS matters - moving your data around shouldn't be this difficult.

At the moment I rely a lot on YouTube - am aware of #Peertube so is that a good way to find & watch travel vloggers, if so which servers/users?
As for music, I mainly listen to my own MP3s on Apple Music. Which have you found to be good alternatives for iOS/Mac?

I've made some progress in using open source software more and it's largely positive. A few minor frustrations, that's all.

Have run in to a couple of minor problems with #OpenStreetMap as part of my #30dayfosschallenge
1. Using #OrganicMaps last week, a #Cardiff shop wasn't shown in its new location. I tried to edit it, but realised it had already been updated on OSM, but the changes hadn't yet filtered through to Organic Maps.
2. Tried to find the location of a client's office on OSM web - just completely failed. The address had the postcode but not the street name, but Google Maps could still find it. -

This week I managed to plug a hole in my terminal workflow that's been bugging me for a while.
It's related to #NetFramework, #CodeCoverage and my stubbornness for not wanting to use Visual Studio anymore. 😬
I count this as part of the #30DayFossChallenge , because all parts of the solution are FOSS.
I didn't really replace anything proprietary with this, but I plugged another hole that removing Visual Studio (Code) left. 🙂

This seems like a priority for fixing in @organicmaps - having found a destination, you can only plan a route to that point from your current location.
I suppose a workaround is to search for the start point first, then plan a route from there.
