2DTV: A Spiritual Successor to Spitting Image

In 2001, a new animated sketch series first aired on ITV 1, going by the name of 2DTV. The show aired five series between 2001 and 2004 was written by the Spitting Image Writing Staff. Cast Members featured had the likes of Dave Lamb, the Come Dine with Me Narrator, and Jon Culshaw.

2DTV was an animated show instead of going to Puppetry, just how Spitting Image did it previously. The show was notorious for poking fun at celebs such as Michael Owen, David and Victoria Beckham, George W. Bush (then-President of America at the time), Ozzy Osbourne, EastEnders, Coronation Street, and the list goes on!

I’d recommend giving 2DTV a watch as it’s quite amazing at poking fun at loads of celebs that were featured on the show. (The Celebs on this show were all voiced by impressionists)
