I think the little walk cycle is OK-ish, I know I need to tweak some of the leg pixels, but it'll do for now.

Hey folks, I created a quick Python script to help extract and stitch together frames of a spritesheet.
I know we can probably do it online, but I wanted something local so I can use it with private/paid assets.

IDK how useful or niche this is, and I know game engines have comprehensive tools to handle spritesheets, but there it is, if anyone wants to use it.

There is a game on #Steam that I loved playing the demo of, so I got the full game on release. Paid the price and downloaded the game. However, the game is so glitchy and it breaks the fun the demo had.

All the art is drawn real quick. The lightning is still lacking but I did try to use normal maps. Therefor no light was drawn on the sprites as they are getting rotated and that would look strange.

The whole project is using a ECS like structure to run the game. Performance wise it will drop fps rather quickly with around 2k of projectiles 😀

Update #4 for my roguelike demo!

Fixed a bunch of behind-the-scenes bugs today — smoother animations, better enemy collisions, and a new red flash when taking damage.

Not much new to show, but it all feels way better to play. Progress is slow (an hour a day if I’m lucky), but steady! ⚔️💀
