Manos a la obra...
En 1⃣9⃣2⃣2⃣ se estrenaba por todo lo alto la película "Nosferatu" 🧛 del director F.W. Murnau bajo el sello de una productora extraña llamada Prana Film especializada en películas ocultistas y fantásticas.
Albin Grau, fundador de Prana Film, era una persona peculiar. Estaba obsesionado con el ocultismo, el vampirismo y formaba parte de grupos esotéricos, pero fue el verdadero artífice de "Nosferatu" 🧛 (1922)
Durante la I Guerra Mundial 👨🏭👩🏭 conoció a un granjero Serbio 🇷🇸 que le informó de que su padre era un Vampiro. En lugar de dejarlo en una ocurrente anécdota, Grau encargó al guionista Henrik Galeen una adaptación de la novela Drácula de Bram Stoker
Como no habían adquirido los derechos cinematográficos hicieron algunos cambios estéticos, por lo que el Conde Drácula sería llamado el Conde Orlok entre otras cosas... La viuda de Bram Stoker actuó de inmediato demandando a los productores.
Prana Film se había declarado en bancarrota previamente a la demanda y los propietarios de los derechos de la película se negaron a pagar 💰 lo demandado por la viuda de Stoker.
La viuda de Stoker ganó el juicio y en 1⃣9⃣2⃣5⃣ el juez decretó la requisa y destrucción 🔥 de todas las copias de la película 🎞️.
Afortunadamente algunas copias habían llegado al extranjero, pero eso no quitaba el peligro que corría toda proyección bajo la amenaza de destrucción de la copia por parte del equipo legal de la heredera de Stoker. Pues... Ver Nosferatu era un ejercicio de aventura.
