Always wanted to try something from this vocalist, but was ready for disappointment, so when this started to come together, I knew it would be a slog through multiple time signatures, but a worthwhile one. Bonus love for the random distorted sample that got turned into a konono style thumb piano!"

Director's commentary: "An accidental pairing that was too good to pass up, until we got to the 6/8 mid-section, at which point having a decent self-maintained database of options proved it's worth, immediately throwing up a perfect solution that I never would have thought of otherwise. Exciting stuff, eh?"

Happy to announce #Kleptones "Shirts & Gurgles" (aka "Shits & Giggles 2"), a new collection of singles, one-offs and previously unreleased tunes recorded over the past 20 years (yikes!), stretching from the very first mashup we ever created right up to the most recent one. All tracks have been remixed and remastered in 2024 especially for this release and will be appearing one-per-day on our YouTube channel over the next 20 days leading up to the album release on 01/01/25.
