Following strong reductions of #ExtremePoverty in #income or #PurchasingPower, a new study now projects that global poverty will rise slightly by the middle of the century and then decrease, based on current patterns.
The #UN #SDG target to “eradicate extreme poverty” by 2030 would therefore not even be achieved by 2100 – without vastly expanded measures.
