Slight change to my 2024 indoor schedule. As of earlier this week, I am coming to Dayton for WGI Winds Championships!

Unlike my other indoor events this season, I will be writing the recap of the winds performing groups for the WGI website. I’ll be at Wright State University’s Nutter Center on Saturday for Prelims and the University of Dayton Arena on Sunday for Finals. I’ll also have time after Prelims. If you’ll be in Dayton for WGI (or for anything, for that matter), stop by to see me during the Winds events or let me know where we can meet on Saturday night.

Join me for the next weekend of the 2024 indoor marching arts season at the 2024 Ohio Indoor Performance Association Reynoldsburg color guard event! Reynoldsburg will take place on Saturday, March 16, at 11:00 AM Eastern at Reynoldsburg High School-Summit Campus in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. The day will feature many incredible scholastic and independent indoor color guard ensembles.

• When: Saturday, March 16, at 11:00 AM Eastern
• Where: Reynoldsburg High School-Summit Campus in Reynoldsburg, Ohio

I don’t know about you, but I go through some serious withdrawal during the time between the end of marching band season and the start of indoor. I imagine that sports fans experience similar feelings when their respective seasons end. Fortunately for me, my marching drought is about to come to an end. My camera, smartphone, and tablet are ready to join me in celebrating the many performances the indoor color guards, percussion, and winds groups are about to present to us over the next few months.

Below is my current schedule of indoor shows I plan to attend:

• 2024/04/06 – OIPA Color Guard State Championships, Wapakoneta, OH
• 2024/04/07 – OIPA Percussion State Championships, Wapakoneta, OH
• 2024/04/11-13 – WGI Color Guard World Championships, Dayton, OH
• 2024/04/18-20 – WGI Percussion World Championships, Dayton, OH
• 2024/04/20-21 – WGI Winds World Championships, Dayton, OH

If you will be at any of these shows, whether as a performer, staff member, parent, volunteer, or fan, be sure to find me and introduce yourself. I always love to meet my fellow marching arts enthusiasts.
