At this point any idea othat #'libDem "could hold the balance of power" appears to be a fantasy

Actually so far they are still polling below their #2019GE share of the vote - tho I suspect their targetting is better than then and they will get rather more seats - but not I think overturn the Tories - but should beat the #snp

Looks like a big #labour majority - as it has all thru

#reformUK Ltd (sole prop: N Farage) will get no more than 3 seats

  2. @petealexharris @ShredderLivesOn @junesim63

You may well be right - and I accept that being in power for a sustained period makes that party - in this case the #snp - less popular. That's life.

Having in the distant past lived in Scotland I know it is more left leaning than England.

But the SNP will lose seats to Labour, who - in terms of additional seats won - will do better than any other party in the country

And much better than they did in #2019GE with a much more left-wing agenda

I am pretty sure coming out with an aim that is totally unachievable - however popular - is a vote loser - see Labour #2019GE

#brexit is done - we are out. The path to #rejoinEU is long and may well be impassable. It is not something on which to hang your appeal to be given a 5 year term. There are so many other things #toriesOut have messed up I'd leave that one alone and just undertake to suture the gaping wound in the #2024GE

Originally I disliked #lisaNandy - largely because she expressed major reservations about opposing #BRINO brexit because in her neck of the woods it was seen as disrespect. Now (after #2019GE) I accept actually she was right - I was blaming the messenger

One thing sure - we can't have yet another white male Londoner if #starmer goes

    #yvetteCooper too #blair era I think

Dunno about #bridgetPhillipson but not I think #annelieseDodds

    #labour, not Labor

I am not claiming #2019GE was a great result for #labour, who suffered from bad leadership, but the fact stands that the #libDems ran on reversing #brexit and were largely rejected, and #labour now is polling far better than the #libDems

  6. @LibDemCampaigner @OurFlagUK @chrisgerhard @rossbright

"#LIbDems stand tall above the Labour-Tory team that brought us Brexit"

Only in fevered #libDem dreams; in reality they blew up in #2019GE by promising the impossible

It is fairly unlikely a party over 20% ahead in the polls will require active support from one commanding just 8% of the vote

To maximise #toryLosses, everyone votes for the party most likely to beat them in their constituency. Job done, no pact necessary as things stand.
