The discovery 🔭 has significant consequences for the understanding of those areas in the #SolarSystem behind the orbit of #Neptune. Until now, it had been assumed that although the #KuiperBelt exists there, it is “essentially empty” behind it. The discovery now suggests that this is not the case.
