CW: Linux on laptops
Having spent few weeks researching used but fairly modern #Linux #laptop, I can say it's fairly tricky process.
In all fairness, the main reason is (allegedly) malicious behavior by major manufacturers. As if they were paid to lock down hardware and never release proper drivers / expose API.
On top of that, I had to buy fairly gimmicky device: #2in1 #convertible
However, to my surprise everything[^1] works flawlessly on #lenovo #yoga 6. Hooray!
