Huge shout out to Mei Heron of 1News, and her cameraperson, Matt, for their coverage of the earthquake in Turkey. It has been exemplary and has brought the scale of the tragedy into such sharp focus here where we know a thing or two about earthquakes. Her focus on individuals and their stories has been the right approach. My heart breaks for the scale of the loss and destruction. I hope she gets an award for her coverage.
