Siemens M65
(2004)An absolute tank of German engineering and one of the most iconic rugged mobile phones ever produced. Long before modern IP-rated smartphones, Siemens captured the outdoor adventure, extreme sports, and construction markets by delivering a device that was unashamedly aggressive, durable, and packed with armor. It was built to survive drops, dust, and water splashes that would instantly destroy its contemporaries.
Technical Specifications:
Display: 2.1 inches TFT (132 x 176 pixels, 65k colors) – surprisingly large and highly readable in direct sunlight for its era.
Memory: 11 MB of shared internal storage, no memory card slot expansion.
Camera: VGA (640 x 480 pixels) with a protective rubber plug and video recording capability.
Connectivity: Infrared (IrDA) port, WAP 2.0, GPRS Class 10.
Protection: "3D-Protection" system consisting of a metal exoskeleton frame and rubber shock absorbers.
Battery: 750 mAh Lithium-Ion (EBA-660) providing solid standby times in the field.
Dimensions: 109 x 49 x 19 mm
Weight: 104 gramsThe defining characteristic of the Siemens M65 was its revolutionary structural defense layout. Siemens wrapped the durable plastic chassis in a heavy-duty, grey aluminum alloy exoskeleton cage that securely locked into the backplate with a physical metal screw. Every vulnerable point – including the charging port, headset jack, and camera lens – was sealed with signature bright orange rubber gaskets and plugs. This striking grey-and-orange color scheme made it an instant lifestyle statement.
Beyond its bulletproof construction, the M65 catered heavily to outdoor enthusiasts. Siemens released an official accessory called the "Bike-o-Meter" — a specialized handlebar mount with a wheel sensor that connected directly to the phone. When docked, the M65 launched a dedicated cycling application, transforming the mobile device into an advanced trip computer, speedometer, and odometer. It remains a legendary pioneer of the rugged phone category and a pinnacle of Siemens' design peak.

HTC Dream (G1)
(2008)Tai pirmasis rinkoje pasirodęs Android telefono modelis, kardinaliai pakeitęs telefonų industriją ir tapęs aršios konkurencinės kovos atskaitos tašku.
Nors jis laikomas pirmuoju Google telefonu, kūrė sumanūs HTC inžinieriai bendradarbiaudami su Open Handset Alliance ir Google. HTC susidūrė su ne menku iššūkiu sukurti telefoną platformai, kuri dar nebuvo pilnai optimizuota jutikliniam valdymui. Dėl to jis turėjo dvigubą įvesties sistemą: pilną atlenkiamą QWERTY klaviatūrą (būtiną patogiam teksto įvedimui) ir nedidelį trackball, skirtą tiksliam navigavimui.
3.2 colio TFT lietimimis ekranas, fizinė QWERTY klaviatūra, 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7201A procesorius, 192 MB RAM, 256 MB ROM (microSD iki 16 GB), 3.2 MP kamera be video, Android 1.0 operacinė sistema (atnaujinta iki 1.6), Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G, 1150 mAh baterija (iki 5 val. pokalbių, 400 val. budėjimo), dydis 117 x 55 x 17 mm, svoris 158 g.
