  1. At the start of the year I finished reading George Meredith's The Ordeal of Richard Feverel. It's regarded as 'unjustly neglected'. I'm not sure. Some bold comic strokes, caricature, and social satire, turning darker and more tragic at the end. Moving on to modern novels now. #TeamEnglish #novels #VictorianStudies #19thcLit

  6. "He loved science and deeply respected it, but, like many of us, he soon came to the conclusion that to follow the career of a scientific man meant to join the camp of the Philistines, and that there was plenty of other and more urgent work that he could do."

  11. Started today by having breakfast (banana pancakes!) with friends, then continued a puzzle while watching #CriticalRole , went for a walk with a friend and her puppy, and read some "Lady Audley's Secret" ( #19thcLit ).
Oh, and I finally watched the finale of S3 of #StarTrekLowerDecks.

What did everyone else get up to this Sunday?
