Grr, finally got around to watching 1899 which I've been super excited about and Netflix have decided to cancel it.
When they make announcements like this for shows that are planned over multiple seasons, they should pull the existing seasons from the service, it's utterly pointless watching this now. What a waste of everyone's time and efforts. Gutted for the cast and crew.

CW: I watched "Don't Worry Darling"
and I mostly liked it. There is a recent theme of forced insanity as a metaphor for manipulation of women - see #1899Netflix - and I get it. Women are rightfully pissed about being gaslit. Society reinforces the lies, makes them wonder if they are crazy, discourages them from asserting themselves. #DontWorryDarling takes this trope to Clockwork Orange levels of horror to make its point, but loose plot threads and a handsome but vague villain were forgettable. 7/10

Me encantaría que Cieran fuera el actor alemán Louis Hoffmann de #DarkNetflix .
Ni Maura (siempre elige a su hijo muerto) y Daniel (siempre elige a su esposa) son tan buenos, ni Cieran tan malo.

@LucilleBorg #DarkNetflix would have pulled you in and entranced you after confusing the hell out of you. But stick with it now...because you've already enjoyed #1899Netflix. You will have just watched the two series in reverse sequence...but then that is sort of a #DarkNetflix theme 😄.
Neither will remove your sadness though...only you can do that. But you can at least escape for a while.

Un consejo: #VOSE. Gran parte de la gracia de la serie está en los diferentes idiomas y la Babel que se forma según avanza la trama.
Me gustan mucho las historias navales, y en especial las de barcos misteriosos, hasta el punto de inventarme un #TootRelato que ya iré contando por aquí.
