Bike riding in Monterey and Pebble Beach
We did a very nice tri-club bike ride on Sunday starting in Monterey (CA) heading south along the coast past Pacific Grove and into the Pebble Beach area along 17 Mile Drive and turning around at the iconic Lone Cypress as seen in the photo.
This part of the CA coast is spectacular with its rocky beaches intermixed with white sand. Along the route you pass two of the famous Pebble Beach golf courses, Spyglass Hill and Spanish Bay. And of course there are the houses. Youβre either awed or appalled at their Hurst Castle-like gaudy excessiveness.
