Det første 17. mai-toget i Noreg gjekk i 1826 gjennom bydelen kor eg vaks opp i Trondheim.

Har nå gjennomgått naturlig progresjon fra korpsfar til korpsonkel, og gått som ledsager for nevø - annen by, annet korps. Fått masse videoer underveis fra gamlekorpset og sett «mine» musikanter feire dagen også.
Det aller fineste: videoer fra en stor jam session som oppstod mens de venta på å komme inn i Barnetoget i Oslo. Barn jeg hørte spille sine første noter for tre år siden står der og improviserer med de eldste! Herlighet, så fine de er alle sammen 🥰🤩

It’s #17mai today. Also known as Norway’s birthday. It’s a huge deal, and I think nicer than both Xmas and birthday. So I always feel somewhat melancholic being abroad and not doing anything about it. But it’s sunshine today, after a week of rain, so I’m hoping to squeeze in a bike ride later. Just need to do some paperwork and pack the camper first. Hope there will be enough time.
