  1. Some more valiant knights have arrived for my 1:72 armies.

I still find it funny they claim these figures are "Wargames Approved".

    Approved by who?!

I do really like Italeri stuff though, they are pretty cheap but their figures are detailed and well defined.

The only issue is that they are awkwardly situated between 28mm and 15mm and so you are dependent on other 1:72 manufacturers.

(Some of which are Ukrainian and Russian, so with their own problems)

  2. I am fascinated by this tagline.

I am not sure what it wants to tell me, but I am fascinated.

  3. Talked with the proprietor of the last remaining model/wargame shop in Bayreuth (itself a surreal experience as that place is absolutely packed to the rood with stuff) and found out that somehow nobody does medieval model stuff in 1/72 anymore, only WWII.

Also that he has been waiting for a delivery from Caesar Miniatures for four years now and he thinks they might not even exist anymore.

Which would be sad, but not all that surprising.

  4. I have recorder an unboxing of a terrific microscale model (1:72) of our local, polish rescue helicopter that operates in our highest Tatra Mountains. Attaching a photo, which presents how it looks in reality.

Will be working on this model soon - it's rather an advanced one, with additional, photo-etched parts.

  6. My current work in progress is the conversion of the classic Airfix 1/32 toy soldiers British Support Team set into Australian machine gunners and mortar crew. A simple head swap is doing the job. #135scale #172scale #afvmodel #tankmodel #tankmodelling #scalemodel #plasticmodels #scalemodelling #wargames #wargaming #hobby #miniatures #shipmodel #shipmodelling #H0gauge #toysoldiers #armymen

  8. This was quite a unique modelling experiment: I tried to enhance one of these cheap plastic toy guns found in Chinese copied toy soldier bags up to 54 mm standards. Quite happy with the result. #135scale #172scale #afvmodel #tankmodel #tankmodelling #scalemodel #plasticmodels #scalemodelling #wargames #wargaming #hobby #miniatures #shipmodel #shipmodelling #H0gauge
