From the same walk in the woods. Besides picking loads of lovely bear leek, we also found a few morels, some medicinal herbs and generally had a really lovely time on a beautiful sunny day.

We had our first fresh #mushrooms of the year for lunch yesterday. Couldn't find many of them, just the four because they prefer growing out of melting snow that we didn't have this early spring, but they are substantial and were healthy so we added a few young #asparagus spears and parsley greens from the garden to the meal and, together with a dandelion greens salad picked at the #forest margins, it was well worth the slightly frustrating weekend walk in the #woods.

This project is called Paint, draw scratch, bleed on me and leave me hanging. 🎞️
It invited people at a party to leave their mark on these 16mm film strips. 🖍️
I had these acrylic markers and nails hanging on the wall next to it and here you see me remove the work the next day. 🎨

I made a 16mm film scanner using Lego technic! 🎞️⚙️
The film is slowly pulled by a motor, passing the frames in front of a camera with a macro lens that I picked up at MPB for 60 euros. The rig itself sits on a glass plate from my fridge. It films constantly, capturing all the frames as a video. Then I asked Chat GPT to write me a Python script that selects the frames and only keeps those where the sprocket holes are perfectly aligned.

De afgelopen vijf weken gaf ik een cursus experimentele filmkunst en vandaag hielden we een kleine expo in @wooncooperatiedewarren!
