As 15 USC 9901, which codifies the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act (PAFACA) has come into effect today, TikTok's application and website no longer function in the United States.
Instead, a message explaining the ban and praising incoming US President Trump appears.
15 USC 9901 does not impose any restrictions on TikTok itself or it's users, but instead requires app stores and web hosting providers in the U.S. cease hosting TikTok and other Bytedance applications.
