Cloudy here so this is all theoretical, but anyone at my latitude (38°S) looking for comet 12P Pons-Brooks: here is a schematic of the WNW sky at 6.30 pm on 20 Apr (tonight) and 25 Apr (as the comet recedes and the moon stops being a problem). The comet is 10° above the horizon, probably requiring binoculars or a digital camera like a phone to see. #12p #comet #comet12p #astronomy #stargazing

Doesn't really affect anything in this case (unlike the airplanes, which were bright enough to show up in a 240 frame average after stretching) but definitely noticeable
