The big lesson I learned from this movie is the power of giving everyone, including bigots, enough time to speak uninterrupted so that everyone in the room can understand that they are coming from a place of bigotry. I think this might be where I learned that sentences beginning "those people" tend to reveal severe prejudice on the speaker's part. However, I do think the movie is too optimistic. In the real world, innocent people are found guilty more often than not. -
