Old house day 8
Frustrating day. The electrician was sent by Dunning Kruger inc. and I had to correct his work 4 times even after being provided install inst. I was about to start pulling up more tile when someone runs into my car on the street.
We then expose a beam that was supposed to be supporting the second floor only to discover... it doesn't even connect, causing the warp you see above the beam in the photo.#oldhouse #100yearoldhouse #renovation #vehicleaccident #dunningkruger

Old house day 7
Kitchen looking pretty hollow now with no ceiling. Electrician was here to move wires and prep for appliance outlets. Removed the pillars that were in one of the openings. Started sanding the floors. Discovered the stairs were pine, went to look at some oak replacements.
