La portátil de Valve sigue sumando verificados en su catálogo a pesar de los años y que sus ventas se han ralentizado por culpa del incremento de precio derivados de los costes de la memoria y almacenamiento.

Just rolled credits on #007FirstLight
I was grinning like a child on Christmas at the end. They hit all the right notes for a Bond story, and I really enjoyed it being an origin story. I wish IO Interactive was going to be making the next one, but hopefully whoever Amazon puts together is able to work a similar degree of game magic.

On June 30, IO Interactive's official Twitter account shared a text post. This post began with a reflection on the success of 007 First Light, the studio's latest game that's confirmed to have sold over 3 million copies. IO calls #007FirstLight a "bold new story and a take on one of the most famous characters in entertainment, which the world has embraced with love." IO Interactive then counters this positive reflection with what it calls "some more downbeat news." It confirms that a relationship with an external partner on IO's original IP, Project Fantasy, has just come to an end, and that the #company must "adapt to this new reality and its short-term consequences." These consequences include "staffing decisions," with #IOInteractive stating that it's "fully committed to supporting those affected through this challenging transition." Though this announcement doesn't specifically state it, this type of language has become closely associated with #layoffs, especially in the #gaming #industry, and especially in the last few months.

It's Saturday and that can only mean one thing.... #WhatImPlaying
I started #LunaAbyss this morning (yes, I've been awake since 4am). Through the first ninety minutes or so I can see they've cracked the feeling of DOOM x Returnal, although it's much more linear than the latter (which is a good thing for me).
The games also got a real nice visual style. It sort of reminds me of that puzzle game from a few years ago where the entire E3 reveal was basically phallic imagery and weeping cocks...but without any of the phallic imagery or weeping cocks....and ab added layer of #Signalis on top; it's super cool.
I also wrapped up my play through of #007FirstLight at the end of last weekend. Whilst I don't think it maintains it's exceptional start, it's still a really good game and something I'll be keeping an eye on going forward.
I also called time on #ForzaHorizon6. It's another one of those games. It could use a rethink imo, but that's more down to it being a little.....samey than anything else; the core game is still fantastic and it'll keep fans busy for a good long while, I just think the formula is wearing a little thin now.

007 FIRST LIGHT #14 - Cambriolage et téléphérique [FR]

17 days since my last post about gaming. Probably to a combination of the heatwave and the World Cup being on.
Anyway, since I got an aircon unit for my office and it being cool enough in there to do some gaming, I've been playing 007 First Light and I completed it this evening. First time completing a game this year!
Early on it reminded me a lot of Hitman with various different ways to go about and complete the mission objective/s. Considering it was developed by IO Interactive, that makes sense.
It got more linear as the game went on though. Not necessarily a bad thing, but felt like a strange transition mid-game from thinking about what I needed to do, to just being guided along a linear path.
Anyway, regardless of that, it was still a very good game that kept me hooked and wanting to go back to. I've been finding that few and far between recently, so it was nice to being excited about picking up and continuing where I left off the previous evening.
