RE: https://fosstodon.org/@aldm_devroom/117502752820837403
We've just put out the Call for Participation to our "Archives, Libraries and Digital Memory" #devroom for #FOSDEM2027 (which will happen on Saturday 30 January 2027 at ULB Campus Solbosch, Brussels, Belgium).
This Devroom will focus on the radical notion of preserving information and digital resources for the public good, with the intent of enabling access to source code, software, research, and other valued cultural works, into the future.
If you're working on FLOSS related to these endeavours, we would love to hear you give a presentation about it!
More details, as well as submission instructions, in our CFP: https://aldm-devroom.github.io/cfp/
Key dates:
- Submission deadline: 24 November
- Acceptance: 1 December
- Schedule published: 7 December
- Devroom: 30 January
h/t to @swheritage @SafeguardingResearch @ecosystems for collaborating on this Devroom
