So what do people use for tap to pay with GrapheneOS?
-
I suspect screeching from two Apple fanbois in my life that will panic when my texts turn green again
-
welp swapped my SIMs around.
My Pixel 8 Pro running GrapheneOS is my primary phone now.
Bye bye Apple.

Okay I tried every version I could find of the "switch to Classic Siri" and none of it worked.
And the AI summary at the top of my email, and then the AI button in the email composer is too much.
GrapheneOS here I come.

I'm just done with these fucking companies. Apple, Google, all of them
they can just fuck right off
Lack of choice (see Google now pulling side-loading, shoving Gemini into everything), Apple fighting to keep their walled garden at all costs, etc
And the devices keep getting more and more expensive every fucking year, and they're barely even iterative changes anymore.
I'm getting off that ride. Fuck it.

Apple launched a whole new OS without training their support people.
I know people tend to hold Apple to a higher standard.
But this....... you're kidding me
-
I see Apple's support folks have had zero training on how iOS 27 works.
I am not surprised by this.

@mos_8502 I've made a couple of decisions -
I'm going to use AI to write my OS.
It will have *zero* telemetry in the OS.
It will never phone home.
If a user chooses to port an agent harness, fine. They can do that. I'm not going to encourage or deny that, but it will never be part of the distribution. -
So a very dear, sweet woman I know in Seattle is selling her condo.
Are you looking for a very well priced (for Seattle) condo in the First Hill area? Very, very walkable, and quiet neighborhood right near Pike/Pine corridor, has garage parking and storage, a pretty decent view from the 14th floor.
