@floofpaldi @saposcat @paranoiapen Just to chime in with a couple of the more specialized ones, #TimeTravelAuthors migrated here (and to BlueSky), also in the WritingWonders days. It's every other day. And #WebAuthorsCafe began this past summer for web-based writing (serials, AO3, etc). It's weekly prompts.
As Panda said, options are great, there's no obligation. If you have a different writing style, could be interesting. All the best either way.

It would depend on the content and how it's done. Right now, a lot of the same questions are appearing on different hashtags.
That was the impetus that made me create #engenderedWriting. I wanted to help writers think about gender in storytelling—okay, honestly, prod them. Whilst I ended the prompt, the hashtag questions are at #engenderedWritingQ. I got to a 100 or so.
I follow #eroticMusings though I don't write intentionally erotic fiction. It helps me think about spicy stories and subplots, as well as the innuendo that's passing through my stories.
So, @paranoiapen, I'd be attracted to a new prompt that addresses different facets of writing or craft beyond the basics, or makes me think deeply on motivation or the human condition. But that's me…

#PennedPossibilities 1014 — If it came down to it, would your SC choose to protect the MC in a dangerous situation?
This is an interesting question. In my experience most people would protect others from danger if they could - and if they recognise the situation. In my book (and honestly LOTS of other books) there is no physical danger, apart from maybe a scared pony. The danger Lucy faces and is almost destroyed by is not recognised by others so she has to deal with it all by herself.

#ScribesAndMakers 15/5: What's going well with your creative work so far this month?
Yesterday I came up with a great idea for helping the kids understand fractions of a set of objects. Trying it this morning - it may bomb. Writing hasn't progressed at all since I was sick. That threw me off and I haven't managed to get back on, but the week after next is half term so there's an opportunity. Still planting and planning the garden and playing the fiddle. Also, singing songs with my choir.

#WordWeavers 15/5: What type of writing comes more naturally for you?
All of it and none. In some ways finding the words to express an idea in any form is easy (or natural) but in other ways entirely unnatural. It took me years and years to learn how to make a story work - and now I can, but is it natural? Writing stories is too hard to be natural I'd say. And songs isn't really any different. In one of my books Willem describes magic as being the opposite of nature. That, perhaps?

Proud moment.
I had to fill out a 'parent view' government form for my kid's school's ofsted inspection this week.
There were a lot of boxes to tick - ticked em. But then there was an empty box to fill in with views, so I wrote a bunch of positive things about my kid's experience at the school - and a final negative thing about there not being enough teachers due to the national crisis. Topped it off with 'abolish ofsted'. -
#WritersCoffeeClub 28/2: How well did this short month go for you, in terms of writing?
Pretty good. I wrote 14 songs and 'won' FAWM. But there is still one day of February left, so I might even write a 15th...

I love reviews like this: I wanted to spend as little as possible on upgrading Windows 10 to 11, and thought I had found a reputable but still cheap option.
Allas, #StackSocial is just another marketplace with possibly stolen keys, not a Microsoft partner.

I'm actually dying to discuss this. Is chiikawa a maromi? Does anyone understand these words? lmao

We just re-watched the movie Begin Again which is in our library on Amazon. It seems that they left out an important scene. It is the one where they put their new album (whole plot of the movie) out into the public domain. I just purchased the DVD to check, but is possible that Amz is trimming their online movies to save bandwidth (read $$)? I will report back on this. #ParanoidPeopleAreFollowedToo #movies #music #adamlevine #kieraknightly

For some bizarre reason, the opening to #ParanoiaAgent is now my favourite anime intro. Maybe it’s because it reminds me of how people at my previous company reacted to catastrophically dumb shit going down around them. https://youtu.be/-anabfAg06U

Welche "#Massenvergewaltigungen" eigentlich? 🤥

In the words of psychologist Adam Grant, "Believing conspiracy theories isn't always a sign of stupidity. It may be a mark of narcissism.
Grandiose narcissists want to feel special. "I know something you don't."
Vulnerable narcissists have self-centered paranoia. "Of all the people, powerful groups are out to get ME."
