Good morning, Mastodon friends! And we continue with the unseasonably warm and sunny weather. In fact, the first time daytime rain is forecast is Saturday -- just in time for the Homecoming football game and little kids trick-or-treating. 😢
The stroopwafels that I included in our grocery order yesterday are good, but not as special a treat as I'd hoped. They are more cinnamon-y than caramel-y. However, my husband and I are glad to have tried something new.
I hope this toot goes through. My instance seems to be very slow this morning.

Today I'm donating to two legal organizations that fight the Trump administration's assault on free and fair elections. I'll put details in a separate political toot.
Today's agenda includes an Aldi pickup and the weekly Zoom call with my sister. I put stroopwafels on the Aldi order. The small chance that my husband and I will move to the Netherlands if the U.S. situation becomes more awful inspired me to try a new treat. I hope they're in stock.
