Unfortunate, given that global warming will lead to greater insecurity, as people are forced to move en masse due to crop failures/famine, lack of drinking water, too much water in low-lying areas, and Governments will want to invade (or buy large amounts of productive farmland in) their neighbours for the same reasons.

@jonpsp I feel your pain, but must admit I filled my car with Diesel in #Basingstoke on Thursday. I have a funeral to attend in London and need the miles next week.
I checked public transport but it would add four hours to the round trip, mainly because of dodgy bus connections, a single bus once an hour notorious for not running...
So what am I to do?
We ain't all devils.
PS. Car did under 2.5K last year.

Well, #Hampshire County Council still think cyclists should not be using the #NationalCycleNetwork Route 23 to get to #JaysClose/#Viables Industrial Estate in #Basingstoke - there's still no dropped kerb since they built the new section of pavement. Is this negligence, ignorance, or deliberate due to a dislike of #cyclists? I wonder why #SusTrans don't audit the #NCN?

There's a poster on this train about gigs, including Pixies, on the Wasing estate. Given that it's between AWE and Aldermaston, I wonder if AWE got excited about evacuation arrangements, or is that only for housing?
One of my former colleagues lived very near AWE and died of a very rare cancer that apparently is less rare in Tadley.

oh no the #flagshaggers are on my train home as well, at least these aren't the old skinhead, retired football hooligan, sort.
The ones at Waterloo Tube earlier were "letting" women of colour through their blockade, as if they were nice people rather than #racists (white people were just delayed trying to squeeze past the blockade, and everyone was intimidated by the noise and the sheer size of the group of large white men blocking the entrance to the platform).
