I still think an epaper frame is one of the nicest ways to have family photos around. it runs on battery and only wakes up to change the picture, so there's no cable to hide and it can hang wherever it looks best. and now that the panel has actual colors, it doesn't even feel like a compromise anymore. wrote it up:
