   The Alberta flag ban is curious. Lessons the teens will take.

   - Pride isn't political/ideology, it is their friends being themselves and that scares adults.
   - Every flag is a political and historical ideological statement.
   - Banning symbols because you fear their power is the best lesson that symbols have amazing power and should be used more often.
   - The banned thing represents a different way of thinking than the power structure wants and is worth investigating.
