Stepped out for #dimsum lunch today. Such a treat to have a good spot nearby, especially given that a couple of long-running locations didn't make it through the COVID shutdowns.
Real comfort food, that. And being within walking distance makes it all the more luxurious.

#DimSum today at Dumpling King on Clement in San Francisco with @[email protected]! Delicious! The panda balls were my favorite, filled with a sweet custard cream. It was only 30 minutes away, plus 10 minutes to find parking. Need to do this more often.

For someone who struggles to make quick decisions between food that is presented to you (by someone on a #dimsum pushcart, no less), Cantonese afternoon tea (ie. "yum cha") could not be more stressful... Besides I'm kinda used to "one main meal + some sides" format, while dimsum is, by definition, sides-first...
Anyways, got brought to one yesterday (20 min line) by someone who loves going to (the Manhattan) Chinatown... Merging table with a western family that seemed even more confused...

Brrr, a chilly day, but we walked over for #dimsum and enjoyed that. Consistently good at that place (Merivale & Clyde).
They used to be a bit hit-and-miss, but since we moved closer to them, they seem to have improved their game. They clearly don't want to disappoint us.

不光不要使用相同密码，甚至都不要使用“相同格式”的密码。“相同格式”是指密码虽然不完全相同，但带有明显的格式规律，比如Twitter密码以tw结尾，Facebook密码以fb结尾。这样的密码也有风险。
密码管理器可以帮你生成唯一的、随机的、复杂的密码。唯一意味着不同网站使用不同密码，即使A网站的密码被盗，黑客也无法得知你在B网站、C网站的密码。同时密码管理器还能够帮你保存这些随机的、复杂的密码。
现在常见的密码管理器软件有KeePass[3]和Bitwarden[4]。

我们留意到上周发生在社交媒体X（Twitter）的 #钓鱼链接 事件，不少账号被黑客攻击甚至被盗，包括独立媒体“大声”（如图）。今年早些时候，“李老师不是你老师”的私信也收到钓鱼链接。
这里分享一些应对钓鱼链接的方法：
1. 一定要留意网址，要对网址比较敏感。❌ 不要点击陌生的、奇怪的链接。
2. 给你的账号启用“二步验证”功能[1]，即使被黑客盗取密码，也不会真的被盗号。
3. 尽量使用 #Tor 浏览器[2]，避免被识别到真实IP地址。
4. 使用 #密码管理器 [3]，给不同账号设置不同密码，而且都要使用强密码。

以前我们推荐过几种安全浏览器，具体请看这里 [1]，今天分享使用浏览器的几个安全习惯：
⚠️ 1. 不在浏览器里保存任何记录：密码、浏览历史、下载历史、搜索记录、填写表格记录、缓存、Cookies 等这些都不要保存。可以自己在浏览器的“设置”里面设置，当浏览器关闭以后，自动删除这些记录。
这里的重点是：只有当你关闭浏览器之后，这些记录才会删除。这就要说到第二个安全习惯：
⚠️ 2. 及时关闭浏览器，而不是长期打开。很多人都有个习惯，就是长期不关电脑，同时长期不关浏览器。这样的确很“方便”，但同时也有极大的安全隐患。
如果你的设备被别人（比如警察）拿走，你正在浏览的网页就会暴露在对方面前。从你上次关闭浏览器到现在，这期间的浏览记录、下载记录等都会暴露。如果你长期不关浏览器，它就可能包含长达数十天乃至几个月的上网记录，想象一下这是多么“可观”的个人数据。

在浏览器里保存密码，是个非常糟糕的习惯。如果你没有设置二步验证（two-step verification），别人只要打开你的浏览器，就能随意登录你的任何账号。不觉得可怕吗？
我们以前介绍过开源的密码管理器 #KeePass [2]，推荐大家学习使用它。
KeePass 会在电脑里生成一个单独的密码数据库，这个数据库受到密码保护，而且不与浏览器（以及其它任何软件）直接关联。你只要保存好这个密码数据库，你的密码就很安全。

First time having #dimsum in probably four years. Would normally imbibe two or three times a month before COVID.
Got in and out before it filled up too much and made some use of masks to limit crowd exposure. Our usual spot has folded, so went to the lesser option.
The #eggTart was quite good. The trick to enjoying these is to repeat over-and-over to yourself "not lemon, not lemon…" as you bite into it.
