I am here in Gaza, and I want the world to know that Gaza can overcome even the greatest challenges. When the war was at its peak, finding a single tomato anywhere in Gaza was a miracle. What did the people do? They planted 40 dunums of eggplant in Jabalia, using the only seeds available. When the crops ripened, the occupation forces sent in their bulldozers and tanks to destroy the farmland, then withdrew.

The occupation wants this. It wants to wipe us out.
