In Israel, a sticker on a laptop was enough to get a student thrown out of her dorm at Tel Aviv University.
A Tel Aviv University student put a sticker on her laptop about Palestinian refugees and the Nakba. Someone reported it, and she was told to move out of her dorm. The hearing was oral, she never saw the complaint, and she was told she could not appeal. Following a Haaretz inquiry, the president now says she will not be expelled, but he has not cancelled the decision and is waiting for the hearing.
