NASA’s Psyche spacecraft will swing by Mars on Friday, May 15, around 19:27 UTC, passing ~4,500 km from the planet’s surface at ~19,848 km/h.
It will steal some energy from Mars and get a gravitational boost to speed up and adjust its trajectory toward the metal-rich asteroid Psyche, for rendezvous in Aug 2029.

7 years ago, on New Year's Day, Jan 1, 2019, the NASA New Horizons spacecraft flew by the most distant object ever visited by a spacecraft, the contact binary trans-Neptunian object 2014 MU6, now named Arrokoth.
Arrokoth means "sky" in the Powhatan/Algonquin language.
New Horizons also saw evidence for methanol, water ice and organic molecules on the red surface of the 35 km Kuiper Belt object.

I remember, a long time ago, when we started to have fuel efficiency standards. The Japanese hired well educated engineers to solve the fuel efficiency problem, the US #bigCorp hired lawyers and lobbyist to go to DC to have our laws changed.It is still going on today and in all areas of business.
Want a present day example.
our gov gives more grants to bigCorp for 4 wheel electric cars but not to #aptera which has a well designed 3 wheel electric car....because it has 3 wheels. -

Seeing an educational establishment shooting which is a single(?) aimed shot rather than random fire at random people makes a change though.Let us suspect that it was an agent of one of the Trumpets escalating from the shouting and threats between factions in the White House and elsewhere, in the struggle to maximise bribes and opportunities.
