Played recently and I recommend:
#NoCaseShouldRemainUnsolved: this is great concept, i really wanna see a sequel or other takes on it. I just kinda hated the controller UI but still enjoyed it a lot
#SayonaraWildHearts: what a spectacle! Not 100% in love with the gameplay though (too much inertia for me). Definitely my favorite UI in recent memory!
Both can be beaten in one sitting (which is great)

I’m getting back into #SuperMarioMaker2 after years, and it turns out the level creators I was following never stopped making levels! So now I basically have an endless supply of kaizo lites 🥰

I beat #BallXPit, I guess it held my attention all the way to the end but I’m not sure I’d recommend it? It felt kinda unrewarding somehow, like the game was playing itself. Also it’s like 20 genres combined 😬

My grandfather was a Bell lineman for all his working life.
This Christmas my aunt got each of us a vintage glass insulator of the type he used to use. I wish I knew more about it but I do love having a little piece of history to remember him by.

Just as a comparison, I beat #RiseOfTheGoldenIdol + 2 DLCs in a quarter of the time it took me to give up on #BluePrince, and that was 95% no filler pure joy. As opposed to 30% solving fun puzzles and 70% rolling dice hoping to be allowed to solve some more puzzles 🥲
There’s something positive to be said about length in games I think; I feel it’s easier to really love a game if you’ve spent a long time on it. But most of that time has to be, you know, fun? 😅
