Tonight, Arsenal had 3.14 xG and scored only 1 goal. In the first leg of the tie, they had 1.63 xG and couldn't score.
That's absolutely toothless.

Incredible semifinal tie. One of the best I've ever seen.
Inter had just enough, played cohesively enough.
Barca will rue giving up 4 goals on 2.28 xG & 3 goals on 0.9 xG in the first leg of the tie. When you concede more than double the xG, questions should be asked of the goalkeeper, the defense, and the manager's tactics. To me, Szczesny played well enough. I look at subpar performances by central defenders, but perhaps midfield support was lacking too.

Thuram does well to keep the defense at bay, somehow finds a burst of energy to gain the touchline and then nice combination passing puts Inter ahead. Barca could have done better to close down the shot, but given that we're in ET, hard to be really critical.
I didn't think Inter had more to give, but here we are again. They refuse to go quietly and now all the pressure is on Barca.

They should just cancel the PSG Arsenal game tomorrow. It could never live up to this game. This tie.
The w̶i̶n̶n̶e̶r̶ survivor will feel greatly relieved.
