I hope they've made the dots a bit more durable than what was used in the Orbit Reader 20 and 20+. I say this after having my #OrbitReader20 sent in for repairs twice within a couple years, and even after the second repair, another dot decided it was going to ghost me.

Wow! He's older than I thought!

Okay, I think that the Eat feature in #Innosearch needs a lot of work. What I was hoping for is a more easy way to look at a particular food item, say, Eggs 60 count, through different stores nearby to get such things as price comparison, delivery time, etc etc, rather than needing to go two or three extra steps by manually going into each store, find the particular category, then heading to that particular food item.

woe, am I seeing this right? According to #Innosearch, you can get folding canes for the blind through Walmart? Just looking at the purchase of a new cane, and saw that Walmart is selling at least Ambutech folding canes.
-
oh wow, now the non-computer user can do online shopping thank's to #Innosearch. If you have any friends who either don't use a computer, or just prefer to shop by phone, give them this number (855) shop-gpt. (855) 7467-478.

@Meepercat oh, plus, I'd been dealing with a folding cane for something like 20 to 25 years that had a strap that was made too long, thus it taking me more time to make sure the darned thing stayed folded. #AmbuTech did a good job at making the strap just the right length and with that plastic handle on the ned of it. I just have to stretch it over the folded cane once, and that's it. No need to fuss with twisting or knotting

@gocu54 Just remember, if you see the word "fragile" it's not Italian. <grin> #AchristmasStory refference there.

I only know of two songs from #BrotherHoodOfMan, "United we Stand" and "kisses for me."

my initial thought when I saw the title #CradleOfLove, was of #JohnnyPreston from around 1961, I think it was. completely different piece.

I turned that categorization feature off as well. Call me spoiled by such applications for Windows as the classic #OutlookExpress, but I like to set up my own message rules which can not be done in iOS itself, but is dependent on the mail server you're using instead. Sorry, not acceptable. But yeah, I've got my mail app set the classic way without the so-called categorizing.

this is a hauntingly beautiful playlist: #Carpenters #KarenCarpenter

Only thing. Whilst there is a broadcast feature on this, I honestly would think it might be a bit clumsy to play dj with this, since I doubt you can make tracks crossfade, plus, no easy way to put in voice breaks. But I might be wrong on that score. #Caliope.

Okay, playing around with #Caliope from www.nathantech.net
I like thus far, the interface it has for accessing Youtube. I notice when I bring up a channel, it looks as though the videos are placed in chronological order, with newest first. I love that. I've not tried the dl part yet. I tried the radio stream, and so far, have not been able to successfully play #MushroomFM on it, not in the searches, and when entering it in manually off pls file, absolute nothing burger. tbc -
@EricAlper remembering some of the Newhart and Bob Newhart shows, and when he was the voice of one of the Mice in #TheRescuers.

liking one of the #Leasey Chat gpt tools where I can load text of an article into this thing and use the tool to simplify the article into friendly language. And it even goes further by adding links as refference points that one can click on for more indepth reading. I Tried this with a few articles from #JustTheNews, in fact.

another cool Medical drama so far that I'm checking out, finally, is #TheGoodDoctor. #MedicalDrama, #autismSpectrumDisorder.
-
Now I liked what they did in #YellowSubmarine, where you actually hear the words that were spoken over the megaphone put into a melody and sounding more clearly.

here's a beautiful cover of #HelplesslyHoping.

I had this song come into my head just now, of course done by #ManhattanTransfer, but I wondered just who may have recorded the original.
from 1958, here's #TheVideos with #TrickleTrickle

<sigh> Well, looking at different versions of #BoyFromNewYorkCity." Just heard the one by a group called Darts from 1978. I give it the "meh" award. The backup vocals were better than the lead vocals, not too crazy about the instrumentation. So, 1st to third as far as preferred versions, #Darts, a distant third, #Adlibs second, and the ultimate fersion, #ManhattanTransfer, Barr, fucking, none. That is all.
