  1. @thisisrjg @nevali I read once that when machine-translating between multiple languages then not every combination gets translated directly but instead using a #intermediate #language. Often English is a partner for all other languages so #translating CN-DE could be done using CN-EN-DE. This leads to more steps where possible mistakes and ambiguities can be introduced.

  4. With the #HumanRightsAct staying, I'm almost tempted to look at Facebook to see my boomer family members and their friends weeping and wailing.

They'd all been looking forward to *other people* having less rights and could not be convinced that it also meant *they* would have less rights too. #LeopardFace

    Dear other country up north

    That's bonkers.

    Also ridiculously beautiful.

Please tell the five inanimate barely visible flecks of colour at the end of the road, and to the left of the human onlookers, to:

― go home before it gets dark

― have a nice cup of hot chocolate

― get their mummies and daddies to hire a video from their local prawn supplier (screenshot attached, maybe you can find a franchise in Glasgow).

    Yours sincerely
