@thisisrjg @nevali I read once that when machine-translating between multiple languages then not every combination gets translated directly but instead using a #intermediate #language. Often English is a partner for all other languages so #translating CN-DE could be done using CN-EN-DE. This leads to more steps where possible mistakes and ambiguities can be introduced.

Granite was also used widely for centuries in Devon and Cornwall. It can be beautifully worked, given the patience and skill. Here is a great example in Cornwall, at Launceston St Mary, where the whole of the exterior is highly carved, including this figure of Mary Magdalene.
