    My kid calls me "dad" about half the time because she's not allowed to refer to me any other way at her other mom's house. I just nearly had a panic attack at a pumpkin patch because she's literally yelling "dad" repeatedly in front of a bunch of cracker-ass rednecks. This is fine.

    It's one thing I've really never had an issue with on other OSes. Sadly, I think Asahi still isn't really there for me yet. I don't think there are any other alternatives for the M1 MacBook Air. 😭

    Maybe unpredictable is a better word. I tried to cmd+c and cntrl+c (I usually try both 😅) some text from my browser into signal. I assume something in the page (tiktok) wanted me not to do that, so macOS silently abided and left me with nothing to paste.

    I've noticed this issue in a number of cases, and often the right-click menu WILL allow me to copy the text. I didn't try it in this case because I got immediately distracted.
