There was a fella on TV last night being interviewed. His questioner said “sometimes you sound like a racist” and he immediately objected. I can’t think of anyone who would admit to being a racist, even though they are. Can you? Would Adolf Hitler have admitted to it?
(I do freely admit to having racist instincts, though they’re confined to mixing up different actors on TV if they’re a different face to me. I dislike that bit of me and keep it locked down.)
