@emmettoconnell This land is actually the future home of the north-south freeway. Which is why the property is owned by the WSDOT. When that will actually come is anybody's guess since they have been talking about it since the 70s but a ton of that land acquisition has already occurred.

He is not there yet. As he says in the second op-ed, he thinks structural changes to elections are not needed.
Why would he not embrace every possible tool possible?

Great to see the support by Mason Co Commissioners and legislators. They know the benefits of a four year college in their region. Many graduates have gone on to found businesses Mason County. It has also been a place where Shelton High Graduates have used Evergreen to step out to other opportunities. Waiver will improve access for more SHS grads. Go Geoducks! -
