🚨 🇺🇸 Oregon man sentenced to 40 years after CSAM found during Newark Airport phone search
Jayson Setera, 51, was sentenced to 480 months in federal prison after investigators found approximately 170 images and eight videos depicting child sexual abuse material on his phone.
The device was searched after Setera returned from an international trip through Newark Liberty International Airport in January 2024.
Investigators also found messages soliciting the material and payments made to people who sent it to him.
A federal jury convicted Setera of possessing material involving prepubescent children and transporting child sexual abuse material.
The judge imposed the maximum sentence of 20 years for each conviction and ordered the sentences to run consecutively.
Setera will also serve 10 years of supervised release following his prison term.
