It’s nearly 3 am and I’m just sitting alone and crying about Juniper Blessing.

She was just 19. From what I’ve read, she had a supportive family, supportive friends, was able to transition young, and was seemingly studying something she was passionate about (meteorology). Her friends and family are describing her as a ray of sunshine and beacon of joy.

For her to be stabbed *40 times* in a clearly premeditated attack (the killer unplugged the camera in the room beforehand, tho I don’t know if she was targeted specifically) in the laundry room of her apartment building when living in one of the safest cities for queer folk in the country is heartbreaking.

If she, of all trans women, living there, of all places, couldn’t be safe from such a terrible attack… idk. it’s just crushing.
