В Киеве в результате удара по НАН погибла Наталья Букало - помощница Горбулина
Наталья Букало, помощница бывшего секретаря СНБО Владимира Горбулина, в момент атаки российского беспилотника находилась рядом со зданием Национальной академии наук. Горбулин подтвердил "Суспільному" гибель своей ассистентки. Сам он получил незначительную травму.
У Натальи остались муж и дочь, которая учится на втором курсе университета.
Коллега Александра Ляшенко вспоминает Наталью как человека, который внимательно относился к работе и умел организовывать процессы. Она следила за документами, расписаниями, телефонными звонками и планированием мероприятий.
"Помню, в сентябре 2022 года на перекрестке неподалеку произошел ракетный удар, когда пострадал Дом учителя. Тогда я позвонила Наталье и спросила, как она. Наталья сказала: “Знаете, кажется, впервые в жизни я опоздала на работу ровно на десять минут”. И добавила: “Мне было так стыдно”. Эти десять минут не позволили траектории ее движения совпасть с местом удара российской ракеты", - вспоминает Ляшенко.

Zelenskyy: Russia has already begun additional mobilisation
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said Russia has begun a new wave of mobilisation and plans to recruit more foreign nationals to fight in its war against Ukraine.

Quote: "In effect, the Russians have already begun additional mobilisation – they are increasing the number of people they recruit through various means. They also plan to increase the recruitment of foreigners, and it is important that the governments of the countries from which Russia recruits people into its ranks counter this. We will inform every relevant government."
Details: Zelenskyy said he has received a report from Defence Intelligence of Ukraine on Russia's plans.
In particular, Ukraine has new information about Russia's recruitment of North Korean troops: more than 8,000 North Korean military personnel are currently on Russian territory.
An additional contingent of 10,000 troops is also being prepared for deployment. They are being selected for training and subsequent transfer to Russia.
Russia is paying the North Koreans for their help in technology: Shahed-type strike drone production has been established in North Korea, with technical support from Russia.
Zelenskyy called for effective sanctions, saying the Lindsey Graham Act, as well as EU and global sanctions, could put pressure on Russia.

Kremlin ruler Vladimir Putin has signed a decree increasing the official number of personnel in the Russian Armed Forces to 2,441,630.

Quote from the decree: "The authorised number of personnel in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation shall be set at 2,441,630, including 1,550,500 active-duty military personnel."
Details: Under the decree, Putin has increased the size of the Russian armed forces by 15,500 personnel.
This is the fourth time he has signed such a decree this year. The Russian leader signed the previous decrees in March, June and late July.
Background:
• On 25 September, Putin said Russia is aware of what he described as violations of Russian speakers' rights in the Baltic states but is "not preparing" for war in Europe.
• Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes there is a significant risk that Russia will attack European countries.

• On the evening of 28 September, Russian drones struck a non-residential building and a warehouse in Kyiv's Obolonskyi district.
