  7. 🗳️ Fotografie lehrt mich, genauer hinzuschauen. Demokratie verlangt dasselbe.

    📅 Vernissage: 01.03.2025, 15 Uhr
    📍 Ort: Alte Schule Wiesenburg (Hermann-Boßdorf-Straße 14, 14827 Wiesenburg/Mark)
    📆 Zeitraum: 01.03. – 20.04.2025 (Sa & So 11–17 Uhr)

🗳️ Photography teaches me to look more closely. Democracy demands the same.
Democracy is not a given. It thrives when we protect it, engage with it, and take a stand. Far-right and populist forces are actively working to undermine democratic structures. We must not let that happen.
➡ Go vote democratically today – for a diverse and just society!

✨ Encounters: An Exhibition of Art & Perspectives
In 2014, I took a photo of two teenagers sitting in front of a café in New York. A year later, my mother Julie transformed the image into a painting. What started as a single interpretation became an ongoing experiment: How do motifs change through different art forms? How do photography and painting complement each other?
Our exhibition "Encounters: Photography and Painting" brings this artistic collaboration to a special place – Wiesenburg.
For me, this is also a personal step: After several years in Berlin, I will soon move to the KoDorf Wiesenburg. I couldn't think of a better way to present my first exhibition – together with Julie – in this new home.

    📅 Opening Event: March 1, 2025, 3 PM
    📍 Location: Alte Schule Wiesenburg (Hermann-Boßdorf-Straße 14, 14827 Wiesenburg/Mark, Germany)
    📆 Exhibition Dates: March 1 – April 20, 2025 (Sat & Sun, 11 AM – 5 PM)
