🕖 7pm Information session on the Antififa initiativeThe run-up to the 2026 World Cup has been marked by widespread institutional violence in Mexico.
We stand in solidarity with our comrades in the affected territories who are suffering dispossession and evictions, as well as rises in public service charges and rents; all consequences of gentrification and touristification.
🫂✊🌈 That is why we are calling for the organisation of community football matches around the world, to raise awareness of the situation and create a World Cup based on solidarity, anti-capitalism and Antififa!

🕖 19 Uhr Informationsveranstaltung zur Initiative AntififaIm Vorfeld der Weltmeisterschaft 2026 kommt es in Mexiko zu massiver staatlicher Gewalt.
Wir solidarisieren uns mit unseren Genoss*innen in den betroffenen Territorien, die unter Enteignungen und Zwangsräumungen, steigenden Preisen und Mieten leiden – allesamt Folgen von Gentrifizierung und Touristifizierung.
🫂✊🌈 Deshalb rufen wir dazu auf, weltweit kleine Fußballevents in euren Communities zu organisieren, um auf die Situation in Mexiko aufmerksam zu machen und eine solidarische, antikapitalistische Antififa-Weltmeisterschaft zu schaffen!
Am 28. Mai kannst du im Zapa-Café mehr über den Hintergrund der Initiative, die aktuelle Lage in Mexiko, die bereits international durchgeführten Aktionen und wie auch du mitmachen kannst, erfahren!

Aroma Zapatista at the Zapa Café: Fair trade coffee in solidarity with indigenous movements

💬 7 pm talk and discussionThe Aroma Zapatista collective from Hamburg imports and sells coffee from small-scale farmers in the Zapatista movement in Chiapas (Mexico) and the indigenous movement in Cauca (Colombia).
Through the concept of fair trade, it seeks to create an alternative to colonialist and capitalist exploitation in global trade.
In fair trade, risks are shared and the self-governance of these communities of resistance is financially supported through sales.
What does this mean in practice? And can it work?
A member of the collective will present the context and practice of their fair trade work and report on the difficulties and contradictions they face. Afterwards, we can reflect on this together.

Aroma Zapatista im Zapa-Café: Solidarischer Kaffeehandel mit indigenen Bewegungen
🍲 18 Uhr veganes Essen
💬 19 Uhr Vortrag und DiskussionDas Kollektiv Aroma Zapatista aus Hamburg importiert und verkauft Kaffee von Kleinbäuer*innen aus der zapatistischen Bewegung in Chiapas (Mexiko) und der indigenen Bewegung im Cauca (Kolumbien).
Es versucht mit dem Konzept des solidarischen Handels eine Alternative zur kolonialistischen und kapitalistischen Ausbeutung im Welthandel zu schaffen.
Im Solidarischen Handel werden die Risiken geteilt und Selbstverwaltung der widerständigen Gemeinschaften durch den Verkauf finanziell unterstützt.
Was bedeutet das konkret? Und kann das funktionieren?
Ein Mitglied des Kollektivs stellt den Kontext und die Praxis ihres solidarischen Handels vor und berichtet über ihre Schwierigkeiten und Widersprüche. Anschließend können wir gemeinsam darüber nachdenken.

Im Januar wollen wir es im Zapa-Café ganz gemütlich angehen und zusammen essen, leckeren Apfelpunsch mit und ohne Schuss gegen die (soziale) Kälte trinken und verschiedene Spiele spielen.
Wir werden unter anderem das kooperative Zapatista-Spiel mitbringen, bei dem ihr auch etwas über zapatistische Prinzipien lernen könnt.
Bringt auch gerne noch Spiele mit.
